HOW and WHY are you two so in love now? because y’all find each other hot? i barely felt any connection between the mcs. ✦ the actual romance was SO unsatisfying. he had no logic and zero self preservation instincts. ✦ the mc is supposed to be this amazing psychologist, but he reminded me more of a pathetic, whiny, snivelling child, who has no idea what he’s even doing most of the time.

i can usually suspend my disbelief a lot when it comes to romance books, but apparently that only works if the book is actually good in some ways. If i’m promised a story featuring a psychopath - i want a fucking psychopath. ✦ this also had the most disappointing psychopath of all time, as in, he’s not even a psychopath. ✦ this book had an absurd plot, that barely made any sense.
